Akufo-Addo & Bawumia to first take the COVID-19 vaccine on Monday

President Akufo-Addo together with his Vice, Dr. Mahamudu Bwumia, will take the COVID-19 vaccine which came into the country some few days ago on Monday.

This, the President made known while delivering his twenty-fourth address to Ghanaians today.

Wife of Ghana’s Vice-President Samira Bawumia and the first lady, Rebecca Akufo-Addo, will also be vaccinated on Monday. The activity will come off at two public health facilities in Accra.

And it will be telecasted for everyone to see in order to clear all doubts and myths surrounding the Covid-19 vaccines in the country.

“As your President, I want to assure you that the vaccine is safe. That is why tomorrow, in Monday, 1st March, ahead of the commencement of the vaccination programme on Tuesday 2nd March, my wife the first lady, the Vice President, his wife the second, and I will take the vaccine publicly at two (2) health facilities n Accra”, he said.
