Akufo-Addo will set another record in this year’s elections – Kabila

Former Acting General Secretary of the Convention People’s Party (CPP), James Kwabena Bomfe, popularly known as Kabila has said on record that President Akufo-Addo will set another record in this year’s polls.

He made this assertion in a live discussion on Peace FM’s Kokrokoo morning show December 2.

To him, President Akufo-Addo has been consistent and courageous in implementing his policies such as the free Senior High School policy which has taken away the burden of school fees on parents.

Despite the legal actions taken against the free SHS policy by the Opposition NDC with the Member of Parliament for Bawku Central Mahama Ayariga leading the charge, the Akufo-Addo led administration carried out it planned agenda of providing free and quality education SHS students and it has manifested in their WASSCE results.

“Free SHS which has been helpful to Ghanaians, was kicked against by the NDC who saw nothing good in providing free education to students who might be underprivileged such Thomas Amoaning. If the free SHS had not been implemented how will such a student go to school and even score that good grade?” Kabila quizzed on Peace FM Kokrokoo show monitored by

Also with Trainee allowance, the President took a bold step in restoring it after the NDC cancelled it. The allowance which has been restored has been very helpful to students who solely depend on it to survive.

Touching on the compassionate nature of the President, Kabila indicated that the president supported women with disabilities with a lot of goodies in order to help them in their businesses and other activities. Also, the President was compassionate enough in approving payment to a tune of $45,000 owed Boxer D.K. Poison.

And according to Kabila, this act of generosity speaks volumes about the President. It will not be surprising Ghanaians will thank the President with their votes in this year’s elections and he (Akufo-Addo) will set another record as the first sitting president seeking another term.
