Former Managing Director of the Bulk Oil Storage and Tranportation Company (BOST) Mr. George Mensah Okley, has died after falling ill for a short while.
Mr Okley took over from Mr Alfred Obeng after the latter was alleged to have engaged in fraudulent deals in seeing to selling of contaminated fuel to companies known to be his and other fraudulent activities.
Mr. Okley also resigned after he was also accused by Energy think tank Institute for Energy Security (IES) of engaging in fraudulent activities.
He (Okley) was rumoured to be nursing a parliamentary ambition in the Nungua area on the ticket of the ruling NPP but shelved his ambition partly due to ill-health.
