BREAKING NEWS: Former Black Stars and Asante Kotoko player Opoku Afriyie dies

Former Asante Kotoko skipper, Opoku Afriyie has dies died, age 75.

The former Black Stars player kicked the bucket today March 29, 2020 in Kumasi.

Circumstances leading to his death is scanty.

He was part of the players that made a Ghana win the 1978 African Cup of Nations.

He scored two goals in that final that swa Ghana win the trophy for it third time.

He was also part of the squad that played in the 1980 African Cup of Nations but were not able to defend the title.
