BREAKING NEWS: Ghana loses second football legend as Kwasi Owusu passes on

The Ghana Football fraternity has been dealt another big news with the death of former Black Stars captain after Owusu Afriyie passed on yesterday.

Ex-Ghana international Kwasi Wusu has been confirmed dead after battling ailment in Sunyani.

He captained Ghana for several years in an 1960s and 70s era.

In the 1972 Africa Cup of Nations it was Owusu that netted three times to take the Black Stars to the finals where Ghana lost out to Sudan.

Kwasi Wusu ‘Power House’ was born in 1945 and hails from Nkoranza in the Brong Ahafo Region.

He played for Bofoakwa Tano.

Wusu was Ghana’s all-time top scorer until Asamoah Gyan toppled him last year.

He passed on at age 72.
