BREAKING NEWS: Runaway Tamale Coronavirus patient found

The deputy Health Minister, Alexander Abban, has confirmed today April 4, 2020, that the Tamale coronavirus patient who escaped from the facility she was been quarantined has been found.

According to Dr Abban, the Guinean was found in Accra yesterday and has been arrested awaiting to be transferred to the facility she was been housed.

The Deputy Health Minister made this known on the Big Issue which comes off on Citi TV every Saturday at 10am.

One of the eight Guineans and Burkinabes who tested positive for the novel coronavirus escaped from the facility in which they are being quarantined in Tamale on Monday.

According to Mr. Saeed, the patient, a woman in her early 20s, “scaled over a wall” leaving behind her belongings.

There were two police and two soldiers who were guarding the guest house where the infected persons were being monitored.
