Draymond Green is happy of getting involved in a game most people are not his caliber will venture into. As an NBA superstar, a lot of people were expecting he might invest in a similar sporting activity.
Green invested in a brand-new professional pickleball team featuring LeBron James and Kevin Love. According to a league announcement on Wednesday, the group partnered with LRMR Ventures to purchase a Major League Pickleball club.
The team’s launch date and physical location are not yet known. Green’s future team will be one of 16 teams that will be added to MLP next year from its current 12 four-person teams.
Green has expressed joy to be part of an ownership group of a growing sport. To him, being he feels happy for him to help push an evolving sports into a masterpiece.
One of the games that has recently seen the quickest development in the US is pickleball. It is mostly described as a hybrid of badminton, ping-pong, and tennis. The Sports & Fitness Industry Association’s 2022 poll found that the number of persons who regularly participate in the sport has increased by 39.3% over the last two years to more than 4.8 million.
One of the younger pickleball enthusiasts is Green. The current four-time NBA champion claimed that despite having better physical prowess than the ordinary person, a middle-aged man beat him in their first match.
