The Ministry of Education is urging Ghanaians to assist security agencies by providing crucial information that could lead to the location of a teacher from Bole Senior High School. This follows the circulation of a viral video showing the teacher in a compromising situation with a female student on school grounds.
The Deputy Education Minister, Sr. Clement Apak, spoke on Eyewitness News on Wednesday, June 24, revealing that the Education Authority is fully focused on the matter and has implemented measures to ensure accountability.
According to him, efforts are being made to apprehend the instructor, who is reportedly on the run, with the assistance of security forces, according to him.
According to our records, the teacher has gone into hiding. We are also aware that the police are actively trying to track him down. It would be very appreciated if Ghanaians could lend a hand to the police in their efforts to capture him,” he said.
He went on to say that the Ministry would see to it that the teacher faces the full force of the education service’s disciplinary procedures in addition to legal consequences.
The Ministry of Education and the Ghana Education Service have reassured the public that investigations are currently in progress, and that suitable measures will be implemented once all relevant facts are determined.
The Ghana Education Service has since interdicted the teacher as investigations into the incident is still ongoing.
