Ghanaians were thrown into a state of shock last night when “duvet”, a late-night x-rated show, chose the time when the president was addressing the nation to deliver adult content.
The managing Director of Ghone TV, Nana Aba Anamoah, has come out to apologize to the good people of Ghana for showing adult romance on their X-rated programme, Duevet.
The unfortunate incident happened yesterday, April 9 whilst President Akufo-Addo was addressing the nation on measures put in place to by government to lessen the burden the partial lockdown might bring on some Ghanaians.
Ghanaians who did not take this not a lighter note, lambasted the media station for insensitivity.
Showing Content of an explicit nature especially at a time when almost everyone is eagerly awaiting the President’s address is wrong in every sense of the word. It is our hope that the management of the Station will indeed take steps to ensure that this does not occur aagain.
