Priscilla Ofori, the bereaved spouse of the deceased Highlife icon Daddy Lumba, has honored her late husband by getting a tattoo-like image of him on her arm.
Throughout a memorial event at the musician’s East Legon home on Saturday July 25, commemorating the first anniversary of his death, Priscilla Ofori, affectionately known as Odo Broni, said that the tattoo represents the affection, memories, and connection they had throughout their marriage.
She characterized the image as a lasting symbol of Daddy Lumba’s persistent influence on her life, even after his death.
“This is my husband’s picture. Although he is gone, I believe he is still with me,” she said.
Relatives, companions, and close associates convened at the event to honor the life and legacy of the Highlife legend, who passed away on July 26, 2025, at The Bank Hospital in Accra at the age of 60.
