I’ll provide 1 million jobs when I become President – Mahama assures Ghanaians

Flag Bearer of the Opposition National Democratic Congress, John Dramani Mahama, has assured Ghanaians that his next government will see to it that one million job has been created for Ghanaians.

Breaking it down, the former Head of State noted that 250,000 jobs will be created each year.

“Our plans include an aggressive job and entrepreneurial programme in the public and private sector; that will deliver a minimum 250,000 jobs every year. A total of 1,000,000 jobs across the country by the end of my term in office in 2024. We will put Ghanaians to work to earn a decent living.”

The former President made this known at a ceremony to outdoor his Running mate, Prof Jane Naana Opoku Agyeman which was been held at University of Professional Studies, Accra, (UPSA) July 27.

To him, the ruling New Patriotic Party has done little when it comes to providing jobs for Ghanaian youths forcing and his tenure in office will see to massive job opportunities for the youths of this country.

According to Mahama, the Ghanaian youth will be employed under his regime so that they can become productive.

He noted that after four years of his tenure in office, he would have created 1 million jobs for Ghanaians.

“I am ready, very ready! I am ready to work hard to provide jobs for our youth, as well as reduce the high cost of living in the country.”
