Fellow Ghanaians, President Akufo-Addo will today, January 17 address the nation on the rise of the coronavirus pandemic in the country and measures taken by government to curb the spread of the virus.
This, will be his 22nd update to the nation and the time for the update is 8pm.
There have been rumors circulating that the country will go on a lockdown looking at the increasing number of cases.
Therefore, we are yet to confirm if the country will go on a total or partial lockdown as the President is about to address nation tonight.
Currently, COVID-19 active cases has shot up to 1,404 with 341 deaths. 55,236 persons have recovered and have been discharged.
40 persons are severe condition.
