The term of Rev. Fr. Prof. Anthony Afful-Broni as the Vice Chancellor of the University of Education, Winneba has come to an end. His tenure came to an end on 30th September, 2021.
Following his exit, Professor Andy Ofori-Birikrang has been officially appointed as the acting Vice-Chancellor of the University.
Prof. Andy Ofori-Birikrang work as acting Vice-Chancellor takes effects from Friday, 1st October, 2021.
Pursuant to Section 14(2) (b) of the University of Education, Winneba Act, 2004 (Act 672) and Statute (10(21) if UEW Statutes (2020), Professor Andy Ofori-Birinkorang, the Pro- Vice-Chancellor of the University is mandated to act as Vice-Chancellor of the University.
Prof. Andy Ofori-Birikorang will continue to act as Vice-chancellor till a substantive Vice-Chancellor is appointed for the University.
