Two Policemen who were exposed to COVID-19 patients in the line of duty have tested positive for the disease.
The two policemen are in the Upper East Region and were exposed at different locations.
One of them was on escort duty while another was returning to duty after some holidays when he came into contact with an infected person.
They were identified through contact tracing and their samples taken for tested which came out positive.
A team from the Police hierarchy has been sent to the Adenta Police Station to screen 15 inmates who came into contact with the people and 20 Policemen since the news that the three men and three women had tested positive for the disease.
