The Ghana football fraternity has been hit with another heartbreaking news of the passing on of founder, owner and bankroller of Berekum Arsenal, Alhaji Yakubu Moro.
His sudden demise was reported October 15, after being admitted at the Ridge Hospital in Accra. Mr. Moro who is in his 60s is one of the longest serving football administrators in Ghana.
Funeral arrangements are yet to be announced but following Islamic convention, a family member has hinted that he will be moved from Accra to Berekum on Friday morning and be buried moments after the arrival of the body.
His club produced several top players including former Ghana defender John Paintsil who also played for West Ham United, Leicester City and Fulham.
