PHOTO: Meet Madam Elizabeth Yamoah, the oldest 2020 BECE candidate

Over 500,000 final year JHS candidates started their Basic Education Certificate Examination today at various examination centers across the country.

Reports so far indicates the today’s papers went on well though some students failed to show up due to varied reasons.

It is in few cases that we see older people who could not achieve their childhood goals trying their possible to do that at their old age.

In some cases, they are prevented from going to school in their childhood days due to financial constraints. Also broken homes forces others to drop out of school.

In all these, the desire to achieve her aim in life will not be shuttered as Madam Elizabeth Yamoah, is among candidates sitting for the 2020 Basic Education Certificate Examination at Agona Odoben Senior High school in the Central Region of Ghana.

Madam Yamoah is believed to be her late 60’s. She attends Agona Odoben Presby.
