Sad news has emerged about the passing of Enoch Eshun (Enochay), popularly known to be a physically challenged student of the University of Cape Coast (UCC).
Following an interview with content creator Zionfelix, Enochay described his medical condition which required him to stand or lay down all day since he was unable to sit or bend.
Due to this, he found it very challenging to use public transportation and had to arrange for private vehicles for each lecture and other activities on campus, which placed a strain on his finances. Many Ghanaians were moved by his heartwarming story, which led to many appeals for assistance.
The Chief Executive Officer of Yesu Dea, a subsidiary of VIP Buses Transport Services Limited, Yaw Amponsah Marfo, widely recognized as Agya Wiase, extended his support after the interview attracted widespread support for Enochay.
Agya Wiase offered a tear-rubber Hyundai Tucson in addition to a Ghc20,000 physical cash, a gesture meant to assist Enochay in his daily movement.
Cause of Death
According to information currently circulating, Enochay who gained public attention after an interview with Zionfelix had been unwell following an incident that occurred during the recent SRC elections. Eyewitnesses claim that at the Shuttle station where students were boarding vehicles to their respective halls to vote, there was a rush and a push in the crowd.
Enochay, who was standing by waiting for space to join his colleagues, was reportedly pushed accidentally, causing him to fall heavily to the ground. Although people around him quickly came to his aid and ensured he received immediate attention, it is alleged that he had not been the same since the incident.
Today, news of his passing has left many in shock and mourning.
Enochay was a determined young man who inspired many with his resilience. He gave his all during Campus Icon IV, earning recognition as one of the best musicians on campus, while also striving to excel in his academics despite the challenges he faced.
