Peter Tobin, a serial killer who played a lead role in the murder of Angelika Kluk, Vicky Hamilton and Dinah McNicol has died at age 76 after battling with cancer for a while now.

He received a life sentence after his heinous crimes was revealed.

Peter Tobin was sentenced to His Majesty’s Prison (HMP) in Edinburgh. While in prison he still visited Edinburgh’s Western General Hospital die to his health issues.

Since his criminal history included rape, forgery, and burglary, Peter Tobin likely has many unsolved secrets regarding other crimes he committed, including the identities and whereabouts of further victims he is suspected of having killed. He bears only the elegance and all these deep secrets to himself.

Tobin’s notorious activity was revealed in 2007 when police convicted him of beating, raping and stabbing a 23-year-old polish student Angelika Kluk.

To hide his identity, Tobin adopted a number of aliases. The name he used when he killed the student while working as a ‘handyman’ at St Patrick’s Church in Glasgow’s Anderston was Pat McLaughlin.

His illicit actions began to become public knowledge after his arrest in 2008. Vicky Hamilton, a 15-year-old Bathgate schoolgirl, was killed, and he was brought back before the court in 2008. Vicky had vanished in 1991 from a bus stop.

Officers discovered Vicky’s remains and the body of another victim, Dinah McNicol, at Tobin’s for me in Margate, Kent.

Dinah was declared missing in 1991 and was never found. After leaving a music festival in Hampshire, she shared a ride with Tobin.
