
South Africa international and Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder Jayden Adams has passed away at age 25. His sudden demise has shocked many including teammates, friends and family.
Adams has recently stepped onto the global stage, making his World Cup debut with South Africa, while also playing a pivotal role in Mamelodi Sundowns’ triumphant CAF Champions League journey.
The cause of his death remains unknown at the moment however his representatives have confirmed the news seeking privacy for his family as they continue to mourn their beloved.
Mamelodi Sundowns, Adams’ local club, was approached for confirmation but chose not to respond. They emphasized the importance of respecting the player as the family grieve their loss.
According to reports, two weeks ago, Adams faced the loss of his beloved grandmother, Marianna Adams. Despite this personal tragedy, he showcased incredible professionalism by taking the field for Bafana Bafana in their World Cup match against Czechia.
