Taadi woman who faked her pregnancy to appear before Takoradi Circuit Court today

Josephine Panyin Mensah, is expected to appear before the Takoradi Circuit Court today, September 27,over fake pregnancy and kidnapping.

Josephine Panyin Mensah was reported missing on September 17 by her husband Michael Simmons after she did not returned from her routine jogging.

Josephine was found on September 21 at Axim. However, after she was sent to the Axim government hospital, medical examination conducted on her proved that she was not pregnant.

Upon further interrogation to find out the truth behind her pregnancy, Josephine has come out to accept that she was not pregnant and has asked for forgiveness from Ghanaians.

She accepted she was not pregnant to medical doctors and police officers at Effia-Nkwanta hospital after several tests was conducted on her to prove her pregnancy today, September 24, police sources disclosed.

She has since been kept in police custody at the Takoradi Central Police Station and is waiting to appear before the Takoradi Circuit Court today.
