Minister-designate for Communications Ursula Owusu-Ekuful has mocked the Opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) after the Supreme Court’s verdict on the election petition.
The Supreme Court today, March 4, dismissed the election petition brought before it by Presidential candidate John Dramani Mahama.
According to the Apex Court of the Land, the Petitioner’s case has no merit.
The seven-member panel led by the Chief Justice Kwesi Anin-Yeboah dismissed the petition on Thursday March 4.
“The petitioner has not produced any evidence to rebut the presumptions created by the publication of CI 135. We are therefore no reason to order a rerun. We accordingly dismiss the petition,” the Chief Justice said in the judgment.
Reacting to the verdict, Madam Ursula Owusu-Ekuful n a Facebook post wrote: “DJ bo y3 nwom”.
The term became popular after NDC’s Deputy General Secretary, Peter Boamah Otokunor, during one of the NDC press conferences which sought to discredit 2020 Presidential Election Results chanted “DJ Bo Yen Ndwom” . In what appeared to be an anti-climax, he asked the Disc Jockey (DJ) to play songs, earning him the ‘DJ Bo Yen Ndwom’ accolade
