In an interview with an Adom Tv reporter, the three, Patrick Kudjoe, Peter Asante and Atoa Azule explain how they were able to rescue it.

According to Peter Asante, he saw the Eagle on his way to his farm and realized it could not fly, so he grabbed it with a stick and stuck it on its neck.

In the struggling moment with the bird, Patrick Kudjoe and Atoa Azule went to the aid of Peter to rescue the fearsome creature. It was not all that easy trapping it into a nest because of the way the feathers looked, but since it is a baby Eagle, they had no trouble grabbing it.

To what they will do with the bird, they disclosed that they will donate it to the Kumasi Zoo.

Also according to them, they have been in touch with their Member of Parliament for the Constituency, Hon. Eric Afful, who has also contacted the Kumasi Zoo Manager Dr. Meyir Yiryele Ziekah to keep the Eagle there.

Hon. Eric Afful has lauded the three young men for their selfless interest in making sure the bird is kept at a safer place and also serve as a source of income for the country.

The Zoo already has one eagle which was caught in the same region by a different group of people.
