A popular TikToker identified as Elladiaries has come forward with serious allegations against NDCs fanatic affectionately called Mahamaba Appiah Stadium claiming the Ghanaian social commentator embarrassed and abandoned her at a restaurant. This happened after she declined his invitation to visit his room at a popular Accra apartment.
How the Meeting Was Arranged
Elladiaries on TikTok shared her story in a video recounting how she allegedly met Appiah Stadium for the first time. According to her, an individual contacted her on TikTok and requested her phone number on Appiah Stadium’s behalf. However, she had no idea who Appiah Stadium was revealing that when his name was first mentioned, she was completely confused even after his picture was sent to her.
Why She Agreed to Meet Him
She then shared her contact details with the person after which Appiah Stadium called her directly. Moreover, he insisted on meeting her before leaving town the following day. Therefore, she believed the meeting was likely for a business opportunity. In addition, she thought it might be for a promotional discussion. As a result, she agreed to meet him while thinking positively about the meeting.
“I was thinking maybe he wanted to promote me or offer me a contract.” Furthermore, she added, “My mindset was completely positive.”
What Happened at the Restaurant
The lady explained what happened when they met stating that the NDC supporter asked her to book a ride and assured he would cover the cost.
He first directed her to Signature Apartment. Then, he changed his mind and asked her to meet him at The Gallery Apartments instead. After that, she arrived at the said place and they settled at a restaurant. During that time, they had casual conversations about her TikTok activities while they discussed her business ventures and also talked about other things.
However, she noticed Appiah Stadium had not stated the purpose of their meeting while it was getting late and then proceeded to ask him directly.
“Please, why did you call me?” In addition, she insisted, “I genuinely wanted to know because I thought it was about business.”
The Invitation She Declined
She noted that after questioning the purpose of their meeting, Appiah Stadium then invited her to accompany him to his room which she politely declined insisting that, “No, I don’t want to go to your room.”
Immediately the words left her mouth, she relaized that his attitude had changed indicating that he paused and started scrolling through his phone. Then, he stood up and said, “Sorry.” After that, he walked away and she was left sitting alone at the table.
She Was Left Stranded
After he walked away, the woman alleged that she remained seated and believed he would return as she thought someone had call. She waited for about 15 minutes and called him to know his whereabouts and asked for permission to leave since it was gerting late.
“I kept calling him because it was getting late but his phone had been switched off”, she said.
She could not reach him after placing several calls to his nunber and waiting for nearly 20 minutes. She believed he left because she refused to follow him to his room.
“By that point, I realised he wasn’t coming back because I had refused to go to his room. So I booked a ride and went home.”
What Hurt Her Most
Describing the incident as humiliating, Ella said what hurt her most was not the invitation itself. In fact, she was more hurt by the manner in which she was treated afterward. She maintained; “The whole issue for me is the disrespect.”
Appiah Stadium’s Response
Appiah Stadium is a well-known Ghanaian social commentator. In fact, he is active on social media and often shares his opinions on various topics. He has responded to the allegations peddled agaisnt her by the TikToker stating that he would sue Ella for taking video of him without his consent and also talking ill about him follwong their meeting.
Mahamba Appiah Stadium said in a video that he saw the beautiful dance of the lady and decided to meet her and encourage her to continue with her good works refuting allegations of having any ulterior motive for Ella.
But when he met her, he relaized the lady was secretly recording her and had to safeguard his image by giving her space which has led to Ella calling him out.
Public Reaction to the Allegations
Following the allegations by Ella, many people have shared their opinions with some netizens sharing similar experiences. Others have defended him, saying Appiah Stadium did not force her into a room to engae in any romantic adventure and for that matter, the social commentator did not commit any crime.
