Prophet Daniel Obinim, is not spared of the wrath of media personality, Ola Michael for some comments he made recently over a car that was given to his wife.
Ola Michael, who has shared a video of his remarks on social media on June 28, 2026, has said in his video that Obinim’s remarks were unnecessary and that they showed a lack of wisdom instead of pain.
“Prophet Obinim, the video you made makes absolutely no sense to me. If you said in the video that you’re a wise person who’s speaking, you’re wrong on that side. I would have agreed that you’re wise if you hadn’t recorded the video,” he said.
There was nothing wrong with a man appreciating a woman’s wife by giving her a car, he said, unless the man was proven to have been involved in an inappropriate relationship with the woman.
Why should that make you angry, you spoke out of pain, someone you don’t know has given your wife a car, someone she is not having an affair with, someone she never prayed for a car, but the person knew she deserves it, and decided to bless her.
Ola Michael shared with him a story, which he had heard from late gospel musician, Yaw Sarpong, to support his argument.
He said he was informed by Yaw Sarpong that a lady gave him GH¢60,000 to purchase a Toyota Tundra because his songs had changed her life. Since the funds were not enough, the woman contributed additional funds to help her husband buy the car.
