Economist Kwame Mpianin has lauded the Mahama led administration for the exhibition of goodwill since taking over from the erstwhile Akufo-Addo’s administration.
He disclosed in his statement that the administration has effectively managed the limited resources at its disposal and has achieved results beyond expectations.
Reflecting on the performance of the previous administration, the GNAT consultant stressed that the Mahama government has maintained a lean government but has governed the country effectively.
“If someone had told me eight years ago that Ghana could be governed this effectively—with just 60 ministers, not a single scandal in eight months, and an economy managed so productively and prudently without a superfluous economic management team and digital head —I would never have believed it.”
The current administration’s actions, he said, have made it very evident that the New Patriotic Party (NPP) would not be able to shake off its opposition status anytime soon.
“This is yet another clear reason why the NPP is destined to remain in opposition for the next twelve years”, he noted.
