Former National Democratic Congress (NDC) stalwart and political commentator Allotey Jacobs has hinted at the publication of a new book titled ‘John Killed Mills’.
In a Facebook post shared on Monday, Allotey Jacobs suggested that he had been preoccupied with preparing the book for release.
“I have been busy with the publishing of my book titled ‘John Killed Mills’. It will be ready before the dead goat leaves office,” he wrote.
The post immediately sparked reactions on social media, with many users questioning the meaning behind the title and speculating about the issues the former NDC Central Regional Chairman intends to address in the publication.
Although Jacobs did not provide further details about the contents of the book, the title is likely to generate public interest given the enduring discussions surrounding the death of former President John Evans Atta Mills and Ghana’s political history.
His reference to “the dead goat” also drew attention online. The phrase has previously featured in Ghana’s political discourse and is expected to fuel further debate over whom the comment was directed at.
As of the time of publication, Jacobs had not announced an official release date for the book or provided additional information on its themes and subject matter.
Known for his outspoken views and colourful political commentary, Allotey Jacobs has frequently made headlines with remarks that challenge conventional political narratives. His latest post is already generating conversations across social media and could add another chapter to Ghana’s often lively political discourse.
Whether the book offers personal reflections, political commentary or fresh claims about one of Ghana’s most discussed historical events remains unclear. For now, attention is firmly fixed on the anticipated publication and the questions raised by its provocative title.
