Parliamentary candidate for Gomoa Central, Kwame Asare Obeng, popularly known as Kwame A-Plus has said President Akufo-Addo has not treated him right since he won power in 2016.
According to the outspoken musician, he does not harbor any form of hate for President.
He made this comments while speaking on UTV’s ‘Mpu ne Mpu’ program with show host, Agya Kwabena on Friday November 22.
Kwame A Plus recounted how he was so close to president Akufo-Addo before, during and after the 2016 general elections that brought the NPP into power.
He stated Akufo-Addo got to know him after he recorded a demo song for the NPP and it got leaked.
“Akufo-Addo and I became very close after I recorded a demo song for NPP. I was about to go and master it but it got leaked the next day and it was being played on Peace Fm”.
However, their relationship turned sour after a lot of people sarted poking their nose into his affairs with Akufo-Addo.
He indicated that Akufo-Addo had the potential to assist him significantly but declined owing to the influence of those surrounding him.
Regardless, he still loves the President and would not wish anything bad for Akufo-Addo.
