Former President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has today 21st October, held a breakfast meeting with 5 presidential aspirants contesting in next year’s primaries of the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
The former Head of State in his statement to the aspirants noted the importance of a united front to win back the trust of Ghanaians and secure victory in the forthcoming 2028 polls.
He expressed his profound gratitude to the aspirants who responded to his call and made time to meet him.
Present were Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, Ing. Kwabena Agyepong, Dr. Yaw Adutwum, Dr. Bryan Acheampong, and Kennedy Agyapong.
Akufo-Addo emphasized his elevated expectations for the aspirants, highlighting his collaborative relationships with each individual and asserting that each possesses the potential to transform the fortunes of the NPP.
The candidates affirmed their commitment to conducting healthy campaigns that would not disrupt the party’s cohesion.
