The Interior Minister and Member of Parliament for Ayawaso Central, Henry Quartey, has lost his parliamentary seat.
The incumbent NPP MP had 23,339 votes while Abdul Tubazu won with 29,965 of the valid votes cast.
Meanwhile, the Parliamentary candidate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Bentil Godfred Henry, has won the Mpohor seat in the 2024 elections.
Henry polled 11, 680 while John Kobina Abbam Aboah Sanie of the NPP secured 8,299 of the valid votes cast.
