Presidential aspirant in the forthcoming New Patriotic Party’s primary, Kennedy Ohene Agyapong, has said that he does not have time for Dr. Bawumia; else, he would have caused a commotion.

He made these comments while speaking in a one-on-one interview on UTV December 15. According to him, the 2024 flag bearer of the NPP does not exist in his life.

His reaction comes after a question was posed to him by the show host inquiring whether he harbours bitterness towards Dr. Bawumia after what happened during the 2023 primary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP).

The former Member of Parliament for Assin Central revealed that, in spite of the insults directed at him, he remains unfazed. He believes that if he were to take such negative remarks about his character to heart, he would have died long ago.

“I don’t keep people’s comments in my head. I will die early if I do that. When I voice out my frustrations then I become free,” he noted.

When asked whether he would support Dr. Bawumia’s candidacy should the primary not yield favorable results for him, he said that he had already campaigned for Bawumia after losing the last primary to him.

He was quick to add that Bawumia did not appreciate his efforts after and did not even say thank you to him but rather they hurled insults at him.

Kennedy Agyapong noted during the program that Bawumia is in support of the insults from some known NPP members including the likes of Abronye indicating that if Bawumia is not behind those people, he would have called them to order.
