Veteran Ghanaian Highlife Musician, Nana Kwaku Duah, known in the showbiz circle as Dada KD will be laid to rest on August 16, 2025.

The Celebrated musician will be given a state-assisted burial at the forecourt of the State House in Accra.

He will be sent to his hometown, Agona Asaaman in the Central Region, to be buried with Thanksgiving service slated for August 17.

This was made known by the family during the one-week service held at the East Legon Executive Club Center. The one-week observation brought together a host of high profile personalities and sympathizers including Kojo Antwi, Kaakyire Kwame Appiah, and Nana Romeo.

Mourners are to wear black and white attire in paying their last respect to the music icon whose sudden demise has surprised many. Dada KD passed away on May 16 after a short illness.

As a contemporary highlife artist, Dada KD came into the limelight during the 90s through the help of Michael Osei Agyemang who assisted him to record his first album Honey Love. The album was recorded at GEE MAN’s studio. He has nine albums to his music catalog. These include, Odo Mu Anigye, Somgye, Ebeboawo, Obiara Se Eye, Mewura and others.
