Ernestina Akosua Brimpomaa, the sister of the late Highlife icon Charles Kwadwo Fosu, well known by his stage name as Daddy Lumba, has supported Akosua Serwaa as her brother’s only lawfully married wife.
Brimpomaa said during an interview on United Television UTV that as far as she is aware, the only wife who ought to be permitted to carry out the widowhood ceremonies for the deceased artist is Akosua Serwaaa.
“Following the week-long observation, we convened a meeting where Akosua Serwaa expressed her desire to be the sole observer of the widowhood rites and I agree with her because, as far as I know, she is the only woman my brother has married,” she stated.
She also clarified that Daddy Lumba has only 11 children not 17 as speculated earlier.
