Sean “Diddy” Combs has received a 50-month federal prison sentence following his July 2025 conviction on two counts related to the Mann Act for facilitating the transportation of individuals for prostitution purposes.

On October 3, 2025, Judge Arun Subramanian issued the sentence in Manhattan federal court.

Diddy will additionally undergo five years of supervised release and incur a fine of $500,000. He will be credited for the 13 months already served in custody since his arrest in September 2024.

Prosecutors requested a sentence exceeding 11 years, referencing a consistent pattern of coercion and violence.

The defense sought a duration of approximately 14 months, citing the individual’s challenges with substance abuse. Judge Subramanian stated that the evidence necessitated a significant consequence.

In court, Combs expressed remorse to his victims, including Cassie Ventura and another individual referred to as Jane, acknowledging his abusive behavior and characterizing his previous actions as “shameful.” The children also requested leniency.

He was acquitted of charges related to racketeering and sex trafficking, yet convicted on counts associated with prostitution.

He will continue to reside at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn and intends to appeal the conviction.
