The Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authority (DVLA) intends to launch a new digital platform in 2026, enabling car owners to reserve their desired registration numbers online prior to finalizing the registration process.
The program, named “DVLA SELECT,” is part of the Authority’s continuous efforts to improve consumer convenience and optimize car registration services.
The Authority announced in the statement released on September 8 that clients can choose their desired vehicle number registration online before even visiting a DVLA office to finalize the process.
It has promised to update the public with further information about the platform’s functionality, accessibility, and launch date when it becomes available.
