
Former Director of the Ghana School of Law, Mr. Kwaku Ansa-Asare, has opined that every Ghanaian is corrupt including the president because the act has become intricately embedded within the fabric of our culture.
“All Ghanaians exhibit corrupt tendencies.” He asserted that corruption permeates all levels of society, from the President to the conservancy laborer, emphasizing the necessity for a thorough and inclusive approach in the battle against this pervasive issue.
During an interview on the KSM show, he remarked that corruption has become widespread and deeply ingrained.
He revealed instances where he had experienced such acts from, which provided him with a deeper insight into the governance culture of the country.
“You pay a visit to the residence of a Ghanaian president.” Ministers arrive during the early hours of the morning, often to remain in a state of rest. He articulated concerns regarding corruption, indicating that such behaviors give room for people to do whatever they like since they know they have the backing of the president.
