The Ghana Education Service (GES) fired KNUST Senior High School Assistant Headmaster (Academic) Charles Akwasi Aidoo after a viral video showed him in an inappropriate position with a female student.
In a statement, the GES expressed severe concern and banned Mr. Aidoo from school grounds during the probe.
The Service informed the public, stakeholders, parents, and students that due process would be followed and that disciplinary sanctions will follow the GES code of conduct.
The organization reiterated its commitment to professionalism, discipline, and child protection in all schools and strongly condemned any activities that endanger kids’ safety, dignity, and well-being.
