There’s a mighty storm brewing as the family of the late Nana Aboagye Brenya, find themselves in a fierce showdown over his properties, and it’s bound to blow up real good.

The late Kumawood Actor, passed on in September 2021.

A video making rounds on social media reportedly captures Nana Brenya’s wife and children at the Kumasi High Court, and according to reliable family sources, the matter revolves around his properties.

Reports indicate that the late actor was married to three wives. Currently, two of these wives, together with the children of the second wife, have taken legal action to secure his assets from the 3rd wife, which include an estate.

The video captured the moment one of the children alleged that the third was not legally married to the actor.

To him, they only know the third wife, identified as Grace Yeboah, to be a maid prior to his demise. Their request to the court is to recover all properties belonging to their father that are currently in her possession, including a school and a house.

“King Aboagye Brenya, our father, died in 2021. They gave us a fake will after he passed away, saying he had bequeathed his possessions to someone else. However, upon verifying, we discovered that the will’s signatures are not those of our father”, he noted in the video.

“A substantial share of my father’s assets was allocated to the maid, leaving nothing for the children. This is the reason we’ve spent four years in court.”

In response to the accusations, Grace Yeboah, who spoke with the media, refuted the claims that she was a maid. She stated that she was legally married to the late actor for 12 years before his death.

She disclosed that the children were responsible for her arrest following the late actor’s death, accusing her of document forgery, from which she was subsequently acquitted and discharged by a district court.

Mrs Yeboah emphasized that she will release the properties to the children if the High Court decides in their favor; however, until that time, she is not willing to transfer the ownership of the properties to them.
