President John Dramamni Mahama has officially revoked the appointments of all Metropolitan, Municipal and District Chief Executives who served under the erstwhile Akufo-Addo government.
A letter singed by the Secretary to the President, Dr Callistus Mahama, explained the decision.
The act of the president falls within the Local Government Act of 2016 (Act 936), as amended by the Local Government (Amendment) Act, 2017 (Act 940).
