During the final funeral rituals of Charles Kwadwo Fosuh, well known in the entertainment industry as Daddy Lumba, the late Highlife Legend’s wife, Priscilla Ofori, also known as Odo Broni, paid a chilling homage to the artist, emphasizing that no amount of falsehoods spread about her can diminish the cherished memories she holds with the musician.
Odo Broni, in a heartfelt tribute delivered at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi, expressed the joy, honor, and dignity her late husband brought into her life noting that the good times they shared will last a lifetime.
“My king, my guardian, if your essence still lingers among us, then may the truth itself emerge as our retribution. “Let the love we share be the flame that devours deception,” she stated.
“May the dignity you bestowed upon me, the honour with which you elevated me, and the peace you provided serve as a testament against every harsh word.”
She further added that she would not allow negativity to cloud her memories of their time together.
“I refuse to yield to their evil intent; I refuse to let their poison tarnish the memory of our attire. You made me happy, gave me a family, and treated me like a queen. “That truth is timeless and will endure beyond all falsehoods,” Odo Broni said.
