President John Dramani Mahama has made it clear to all his appointees that he will not shield them if they find themselves embroiled in any scandal.

He laid emphasis at the ongoing criminal prosecutions of appointees of the previous Akufo-Addo’s administration as a lesson they should learn from and desist from any act that would also land them in similar situation because the Mahama administration will not protect any appointee who is found culpable of abusing his or her office.

The president shared this information during a courtesy visit from the Christian council.

“I’ve issued a notice to my ministers, reminding them daily in cabinet meetings. We are pursuing prosecutions against the previous government, and let it be known, the first individual to bring a scandal will face serious consequences. “We will hang them on a cross, and you will follow our Lord Jesus, but know this: you shall not rise again,” he declared.
