A 2-year-old toddler from El Salvador arrived at the US-Mexican border telling authorities she is looking for her parents, according to reports.

The young person was one of 200 immigrants, 60 of whom were minors, who arrived at the border unaccompanied attempting to cross the border Maverick County, Texas. A spokesperson with the Texas Department of Public Safety made this revelation in an official statement on Sunday November 24.

Video footage of the small girl wearing a pink jacket was released by the Department where she disclosed to authorities she came by herself.

The girl was holding a piece of paper with a name and phone number on it, according to reports.

A different footage by TDPS captured dozens of underage minors, many shivering in light sweatshirts, stating their ages and countries of origin.

“I’m Brendon from El Salvador”, one minor said. Another minor also revealed he is 12 years old and he is heading to Los Angeles.

According to the TDPS statement, the children’ ages range from two to seventeen.

The footage comes during a time of much uncertainty regarding the future of U.S. immigration policy.

President-elect Donald Trump has vowed to deport millions of undocumented residents, even claiming he would use the National Guard and military resources to assist in a mass deportation program.
