Postings for prospective national service personnel will be made public by November 1; Acting Executive Director of the National Service Authority (NSA), Ruth Sheldon, clarified.

The National Service Authority has posted 85, 159 qualified candidates for the 2025/2026 service year to serve the nation for a period of one year.

The NSA has indicated that this figure does not include personnel with data discrepancies, teachers, healthcare professionals, and midwives, whose postings will be disclosed in a subsequent release.

Selected personnel have been directed to verify their placement on the NSA website, print out their appointment letters, and schedule an appointment at the designated registration centers.

The initial release signifies the formal commencement of the 2025/26 national service cycle, a well-established tradition that remains crucial for youth development, skill application, and the process of nation-building.

The National Service Authority, in its formal announcement, commended the deployed personnel and underscored the significance of their contributions to the advancement of national development.
