Human Rights Reporters Ghana (HRRG) and the Justice Revived Foundation (JRF), who are fighting for justice for a 13-year-old girl have revealed how over 20 men defiled her. The incident is believed to have taken place in Madina, Accra.
The young girl who is a pupil of Madina No.3 Basic School became a victim after she was reportedly assaulted by over 20 men. The abominable acts started in February 2025 and have left the little girl emotionally traumatized and pregnant.
The beaver girl gave a chilling account of how she was molested and used as an object of gratification by these men with some being teenagers according to a statement from Human Rights Reporters Ghana (HRRG).
She indicated that the main suspect who is a 45-year-old Mason called Kwame Clement who lives close, deceived her with fake promises before he forcibly had his way with her. According to her, it did not stop there as Clement invited his friends to also assault her.
The statement indicated that the girl received threats to her life from the perpetrators of these horrible acts, instilling fear that prevented her from disclosing the situation to anyone.
The Domestic Violence and Victim Support Unit (DOVVSU) in Madina has taken over the case with some arrests being made. However, the JRF and HRRG have expressed concern about important suspects, such as Kwame Clement, who is still at large.
The groups are calling for the immediate arrest of all suspects, including key suspects such as Kwame Clement, and are urging the relevant authorities to expedite the investigative processes, exhibit compassion towards the young girl, and address the matter with the urgency it deserves.
