In a statement dated August 10th, the Presidential Envoy acknowledged the support of the leaders through their intercessory prayers and sustained leadership in promoting peace.

However, the statement further stressed the need for the clergymen to intercede for the President, government and all state institutions, the bereaved families and Ghana. This follows the Aircraft which reportedly crashed into a tree at Adansi in the Ashanti Region killing government officials, military officers and NDC party Executives.

The initiative is purposely meant to ensure responsibility, prudence, and effective governance of the nation’s future, especially in these unpredictable times.

It underlined the government’s dedication to collaborating with religious leaders for the peace and prosperity of Ghana.
