The Head Coach for the Ghana Black Stars, Carlos Quieroz, has noted that the team has one objective for this year’s World Cup tournament: to clinch victory adding that each player must prepare adequately to make the dream a reality.

While speaking during a press conference themed ‘Beyond the Whistle’ on Saturday May 16, Queiroz stated that taking on other teams and winning should be the main focus of the Black Stars.

“Regardless of the nation or the emblem, the World Cup signifies a singular objective — the pursuit of victory,” he stated.

And according to him, the dream of winning the competition should be enough for the players to make the needed sacrifice.

The Portuguese trainer stressed the need for unity and discipline in the team indicating that no one will be treated above the team.

“No one will be placed above the team, and all players will play with a single objective in mind,” he stated.

As Ghana gears up for the imminent FIFA World Cup tournament, anticipation runs high among Ghanaians for the Black Stars to leave their mark on the world stage.
