The West African Examination Council (WAEC) has released provisional results of candidates who sat for the 2024 Basic Education Certificate Examination (B.E.C.E).
WAEC revealed in it communique that results of candidates will be sent to various schools through the Metropolitan/Municipal/District Directors of Education.
However, some malpractices were detected by the Council after thorough investigations and approval has been given for the cancelation of subject results for 377 school candidates and 3 private candidates.
RELEASE-OF-PROVISIONAL-RESULTS.-BECE-2024These candidates, either brought foreign materials into the examination hall or copied. Also, the entire results of forty-one 41 candidates and 1 private candidate were canceled and results of 33 candidates and 3 private candidates are being withheld for further investigations.
How To Check Your BECE Results
You can check your BECE results by following these steps;
- Dial *899*550# on your mobile device (any network).
- Select BECE 2024 Results Checker.
- Confirm the price and description, then choose option 1.
- Authorize the payment using Mobile Money.
- Receive the checker card via SMS with instruction.
