The Ghana Police Service has said that it is hunting a group of armed robbers who attacked a jewelry shop in Adabraka in the early hours of November 2, 2024.
Four armed men who are yet to be identified made away with huge sums of money loaded in sacks at Adabraka market injuring one person in the process.
Residents were compelled to observe due to the sporadic shooting from the thieves.
A video circulating on social media captured the four men in mask attacking a red Toyota Corolla parked near the market.
Reacting to the incident, the police service has assured the general public that the perpetrators of the heinous crime will be brought to book .
The statement from the police read:
“The police are on manhunt for a gang of armed robbers who attacked a jewelry shop at Adabraka in Accra, Saturday November 2, 2024 where one person was injured.
We would like to assure the public that we will surely get them and bring them to face justice.”
