Information smartandstuck.com has received indicates that the flagbearer of Ghana Freedom Party, Madam Akua Donkor, has kicked the bucket.
According to reliable information that disclosed this sad news to us, the outspoken politician passed away at Ridge Hospital in Accra on Monday October 28, 2024.
Veteran broadcast journalist Ernest Frimoing Manso in an interview on TV3 Newday, noted that the well-known politician was diagnosed with respiratory problems at Nsawam Hospital and was transferred to Ridge Hospital where she met her untimely death.
She died at age 83.
Akua Donkor was third on the ballot paper for this year’s upcoming General elections with all indicators showing clearly that she was gearing up for the December polls with just 39 days left.
Her campaign promises include, free vehicles for journalists, duty-free port services for the clearing of goods, free education, good incentives for farmers and so many mouthwatering promises.
Akua Donkor was born on February 1952. She hails from the Afigya Kwabre District in the Ashanti Region of Ghana. She is a cocoa farmer by profession and has always been advocating for the rights of women and farmers.
