Multiple award-winning journalist, Saddick Adams has revealed it is unlikely for the Black Stars of Ghana to qualify for the 2025 African Cup of Nations due to the current position of the team on the table.

The veteran broadcaster believes the Sudanese side will win their next game and that would make the chances of Ghana qualifying to the prestigious tournament slim.

While speaking in an interview on Kumasi-based Pure Fm, the sports journalist noted that the coach of the Black Stars should have used the national under-20 team call-ups instead of inviting foreign-based players.

He further explained that such a move would have given the under-20 players the opportunity to prove themselves with the two games left.

“It is clear that we won’t qualify for the 2025 AFCON and so instead of calling the foreign-based players in our two games left, it would have been best that we rather use the national under-20 players and blend them with the local players,” he indicated.
