A search was then launched to confirm if the murder had been committed. This led the residents to a path where the little boy’s lifeless body was lying in a pool of blood without his hand heightening suspicions that Asuo had murdered him.
According to reports, the irate crowd broke into Asuo’s home and discovered his blood-stained bedsheet and one of his t-shirts. This discovery incited the mob to lynch the suspect and set his body ablaze before the arrival of police officers.
